Yamaha musical instruments, equipment and technology are enjoy worldwide renown for being of premium quality. So Vic Studios in Wrexham was delighted when Yamaha Music Europe donated to it a semi acoustic guitar, a mixing desk and some amplifiers recently.

“When we came across the great things Vic Studios is doing to transform young lives through music, we knew we had to help out in some way. We know the power that music has to help young people gain confidence and express themselves and we like the way Vic Studios is going about this,” said Dan Stock from Yamaha.

“That Yamaha is aware of the work we do is a great thing in itself. For them to make us such a generous gift recognises the time and effort our staff and volunteers put into making Vic Studios such a vibrant musical resource to the local community,’ said Chris Lloyd, Chairman of Vic Studios.

“Every week, schools, social services, charities and community organisation refer young people to Vic Studios. We tailor music sessions to their individual needs which aim to make them feel better about themselves and possibly change their lives. This donation from Yamaha made a difference to what we do from the day it arrived,” said Michael Harmina, Manager of Vic Studios.
